Las Vegas Raiders owner Mike Davis is more than happy to have Beyoncé close her "Cowboy Carter" tour at the Allegiant Stadium in July.

In fact, in a statement to a Las Vegas publication, Davis joked that he'd even offer Beyoncé a spot on their team if she had the skills to perform on the field.

“I’m certainly not going to send Beyoncé a cease-and-desist,” Davis told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “In fact, if she can throw the ball," he joked.

Davis' comment comes days after James Dolan, owner of the Las Vegas Sphere, issued a cease and desist order to the "JOLENE" singer for using his "intellectual property" without permission.

“Beyoncé — many orders of magnitude larger than the Sphere venue — leans over, picks up the venue, and looms over it,” Kathleen McCarthy, a lawyer representing Dolan, wrote in a statement covered by The Blast.

Although Bey's use of the Sphere in her tour's visuals brought some attention to the massive venue, which opened in September 2023, Dolan and McCarthy argued that it was causing "significant speculation" that she would end her tour with a "Sphere residency."

The initial statement from McCarthy, which was sent to Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé's production company, also slammed the mother of three for not taking the proper steps to obtain permission to use their venue in her tour interlude.

"SEG is sure that multiple aspects of the interlude video, including other brands, clips, and music, were duly cleared by the tour with rights permissions from the rights holders whose works were used in the video, as is common practice. SEG, however, was never asked, and the prominent appearance and manipulation of SEG's Sphere venue in the video is unauthorized," the statement read.

During the third night of her "Cowboy Carter" tour, which occurred on May 4 at SoFi Stadium in California, loyal BeyHive members noticed the singer complied with Dolan's cease and desist request and ditched the virtual depiction of the Sphere.

In the new interlude, instead of picking up the circular building and walking away with it, Beyoncé bends down, picks up a mockup of Sin City's Allegiant Stadium, and struts away.

Her team also posted the clip on Parkwood's Instagram and promoted her two shows at the venue in late July 2025.

Fans replied to the video and joked in the singer's comments over her "petty" response.

"Those petty ones can't f-ck with me," one user wrote, referencing a lyric in her song "YA YA."

Someone else agreed, writing, "Bey really said, 'You want petty?' Here's petty."

"PARKWOOD IS UNDEFEATED! TAKE THAT SPHERE," a third fan commented.

Beyoncé first announced her "Cowboy Carter" tour in early 2025 after putting on an electrifying show during the Houston Texans' matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day last year.

During the performance, which was streamed on Netflix and later promoted as "Beyoncé Bowl," the 43-year-old performed some of the album's most popular songs, such as "LEVII'S JEANS" and "TEXAS HOLD 'EM."

She brought out special guests, including her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and singers Shaboozey and Post Malone. The 13-minute production also featured pre-recorded vocals from country legend Dolly Parton.

In the tour announcement post, which Beyoncé captioned, "SHE COMING," the 35x Grammy Award-winning artist shared that she and her team would stop in nine locations.

In addition to her five shows at SoFi in Cali, the "HOMECOMING" singer will also appear in Chicago, New York, Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas.
